We invite you to join us at the Empowering Educational Excellence conference 2017 for an exciting, compelling and inspiring insight into the Leadership of Learning in the 21st Century.

In almost every country in the world, education is managed thorough local government education departments.  These can be at the level of municipalities, regions, districts or principalities but they all have attributes in common.  One of these things is that there is a Chief Education Officer role - perhaps a politically appointed Secretary, perhaps a Director of Schools, perhaps a Schools' Superintendent of a Schools' Administrator.

In many cases, this role has traditionally been an administrative one - to manage school buildings, employ staff and ensure finances are administered properly. Increasing recognition of the importance of this role now means that these Directors of Education Services are however increasingly being held accountable for educational standards. This conference provides support to these new Leaders of Education Services - policy makers, superintendents, administrators and leaders who wish to explore ways to improve their education system.

The single theme is improving schools through strategic leadership.  This is delivered through three strands:

1. Strategic Leadership of Education Services

This theme provides an opportunity to consider approaches to some of the most important contemporary approaches to leading change in education systems.

2. Sharing the experience

This theme provides the opportunity to share experiences from different education systems.  Speakers from all over the world will be invited to contribute from their own experience.

3. Planning the action

This theme provides opportunities to bring current issues and problems, and to build plans to solve these.  Participants will leave not just with knowledge, but with plans to lead change.
